Through my venture CoffeeRobot, which features a coffee vending machine using house-roasted beans, I have achieved the fusion of technology and coffee. This time, however, I had the opportunity to experience the coffee revolution that transcends tradition by visiting a new coffee shop called “Kurasu Kyoto Stand.”

Kurasu Kyoto Stand is a compact coffee shop located just a seven-minute walk from Kyoto Station. Upon entering, you are greeted by a simple and calm atmosphere. This small space breathes new values, offering visitors a special moment that feels curated.

However, there were moments when I felt slightly underwhelmed. While the staff was interacting jovially with regular customers while preparing my coffee at the register, it caught me by surprise. Though the quality of service was not an issue, as someone who seeks a sense of exclusivity, I wished for a bit more focus on the coffee preparation.
